Impact

Our Community Footprint

The measure of an institution is not its endowment or its architecture; it is the positive impact its community has on the world. At Kingsman National Institute, our “impact” is defined by the contributions of our students, alumni, and faculty. We are fundamentally outward-looking, committed to serving not only our immediate community in Athens but also the global challenges that connect us all.

Our impact begins locally. Our PPL students provide pro-bono analysis for local NGOs, our engineering students partner with the Municipality of Athens on sustainable urban projects, and our arts faculty curates public exhibitions that enrich the city’s cultural life. We do not see ourselves as separate from Athens; we see ourselves as a resource for its continued growth and dynamism. Our mission extends beyond academic credentials to include the cultivation of active, ethical, and engaged citizenship.

Academic Excellence & Graduate Destinations

Our rigorous, integrated academic model consistently produces outstanding results. Our Senior School students are regularly placed in the world’s most demanding universities. Our IB Diploma average score consistently exceeds 39 points (against a global average of around 30-32), and our A-Level students achieve one of the highest proportions of A* and A grades in Southern Europe.

This excellence continues at the university level. Our graduates are highly sought after by global employers and top-tier postgraduate institutions. They leave KNI not only with specialized knowledge but with a demonstrated capacity for critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and clear communication. Our graduates regularly secure positions at leading firms in technology (Google, Microsoft), finance (Goldman Sachs, ECB), international governance (the UN, European Commission), and creative industries (major design studios and media houses). Others proceed directly to doctoral study at institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, and ETH Zurich.

Alumni Impact Profiles

Our alumni network is a testament to the KNI philosophy. They are thinkers and makers who challenge the status quo.

  • The Digital Humanist: A graduate of our joint BA in PPL and MSc in Computational Science, this alumna now leads policy at a major European ethical AI consortium. She works directly with legislators to draft regulations that promote technological innovation while protecting fundamental human rights—a perfect synthesis of the KNI ethos.
  • The Creative Technologist: After completing our BFA in Digital Media, this alumnus founded an award-winning interaction design studio based in Berlin. His firm specializes in creating immersive museum experiences using augmented reality, bringing history to life—a skill he first developed in our Athens-based studios.
  • The Sustainable Engineer: A graduate of our BEng in Sustainable Systems, this alumna now works as a lead project manager for a major renewable energy firm, developing large-scale wind and solar infrastructure across the Mediterranean. Her final-year dissertation on Aegean wind patterns became the basis for her first professional patent.

Student Life & Accolades

Impact is also measured in the achievements of our current students, who demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom. Our KNI Debate Society is a formidable force in European parliamentary debate circuits, renowned for its analytical precision. The Kingsman Robotics Team, a joint effort between our Senior School and Undergraduate Engineering students, has been a consistent finalist in the Hellenic Robotics Challenge.

Our annual “KNI Design Biennale” has become a significant event in the Athenian arts calendar, showcasing the work of our Design & Visual Arts students and attracting curators and agency scouts from across the continent. These activities are not ‘extra-curricular’; they are ‘co-curricular’—essential parts of the KNI experience where students apply their learning, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong connections within their vibrant community.
